Building Wisconsin’s Youth-Led Civic Future

Building Wisconsin’s Youth-Led Civic Future

Badger Youth Organizing is a new statewide 501(c)(3) initiative ensuring that young people, especially BIPOC, rural, immigrant, and working-class youth historically excluded from power, are at the center of shaping Wisconsin’s future. Our mission isn’t just to mobilize young people for one election cycle - it’s to build lasting power, identity, and civic belonging year-round.

Badger Youth Organizing blends immediate get-out-the-vote strategies with deep organizing, leadership pipelines, as well as campus and community-based hubs that anchor year-round youth power in communities across Wisconsin.

Young people’s participation in our elections strengthens both our democracy and our communities. Elections shape your daily life - from housing, child care, and health care, to public transportation, our air and water, and the quality of our public schools. Wisconsin faces critical elections in 2026: a contested Supreme Court seat, a Governor’s race, an open U.S. Senate seat, four key U.S. House races, and major school board contests.
